In 2002 Carnegie Holdings purchased Clydesdale Financial Services (CFS). A leading supplier of Retail Finance, CFS provides Point of Sale credit to a growing number of retailers, across many sectors, in the UK. CFS currently works in partnership to support in excess of 5000 retail clients, advancing millions of pounds each week.
This case study highlights the various challenges that CFS faced and it explains how the solution was implemented and it also outlines the resulting benefits to the CFS finance operation.

Motor Finance Case Study
In the spring of 2003, Clydesdale Financial Services (CFS) made a decision to enter the competitive Motor Finance marketplace.
CFS were working to a very tight deadline for implementation and in order to be successful, the proposal systems to support the business would need to be designed to minimise the costs of the new operation.
CFS chose Redline to assist them in deciding the technical requirements, providing the proof of concept and ensuring the smooth integration of the new proposal system with the existing loan platform systems.

NEXT Home is a division of the NEXT group, selling furniture and accessories through a network of stores. Interest free credit is available on larger purchases through Clydesdale Financial Services (CFS).
NEXT have a strong focus on customer service with years of investment in their prestigious brand. To this end they expressed a wish to streamline the sales process to incorporate the credit application into their ordering system.
With a proven track record for delivering online credit solutions on behalf of CFS, Redline were asked to assist in defining and delivering a service that would best satisfy the brief.
